Barnabas Co-Lab

Don't just read about the turn. Walk it with others.

A six-month Christian leadership formation cohort for leaders ready to return to identity, sonship, rest, blessing, and formation before function. Sixteen seats. In-person in Chino, CA, or online from anywhere.

Cohort 1 is in session through September 3. The next-cohort waitlist is open.

Waitlist members get earlier notice and the AWAKENING promo code when the next cohort opens.

Why Co-Lab exists

Most leaders don't need more information. They need a room, a rhythm, and a guide.

Barnabas Co-Lab is the next step for leaders who read About Face and realize the ache beneath achievement cannot be solved by another tactic.

A formation container — shared language, monthly rhythms, honest reflection, and leadership development rooted in identity before output. A small room of leaders, not a crowd.

The six months

Walked through the fivefold ministry of Ephesians 4.

Lived practice in a covenant community — culture first, content second.

Month 1

Leader First

Formation before function. Who you are before what you do. Identity and sonship as the foundation of leadership.

Month 2

Apostolic

Kingdom vision. Building that outlasts you. The apostolic gift sets vision and lays foundations (Eph. 4:11).

Month 3

Prophetic

Hearing God. Speaking into what is not yet. The prophetic gift discerns and declares what God is doing.

Month 4

Teacher

Rooting others in truth. Wisdom that builds, not impresses. Teaching that forms people, not just fills notebooks.

Month 5

Pastoral

Care without losing yourself. Presence as ministry. The pastoral gift shepherds, heals, and walks alongside.

Month 6

Evangelistic

Living sent. Influence as witness. The evangelistic gift carries the good news into every sphere of life.

Weekly Core Night

In-person in Chino, CA. Tuesdays, 7–9PM PST. Scripture grounding, teaching, and guided cohort discussion.

Zoom Integration Lab

Weekly online session to apply what you're learning in your actual context and relationships.

Sage Saturdays

Monthly gatherings with seasoned leaders — Craig Hill, Ps. Eddy Leo, Bob Roberts Jr., and others.

If the rhythm above sounds like the room you've been looking for — a small group, a clear path, a guide who's walked it — get on the next-cohort list. Or, if waiting feels long, start a 1-on-1 conversation with Mike.

Who this is for

Built for leaders who feel the ache beneath the achievement.

Pastors & Ministry Leaders

You've been leading faithfully, but the pace is unsustainable. You need formation, not more information. A space to be a son or daughter before you're a pastor.

Christian Entrepreneurs

You're building in faith, but your identity got tangled in your output. You want to lead from wholeness, not from the ache of proving your worth.

Fathers & Husbands

You want to break generational patterns — to bless on purpose, not just correct by instinct. To give your family a face turned toward them.

Emerging Leaders

You sense a calling but don't want to build on shallow roots. You're looking for spiritual formation in community — not just a course, but a way of life.

Cohort 2 — reference pricing

Two ways to join.

Both tracks attend the same Sage Saturdays. Sixteen seats total across both tracks. The current cohort is in session through Sept. 3; pricing below applies when the next-cohort waitlist opens.

FAQ

Honest answers.

Who is Co-Lab for?

Christian leaders carrying weight no one sees — pastors, ministry leaders, founders, fathers, and emerging leaders who need formation as much as information. You don't need to be ordained or running a platform. You need to be hungry for the turn.

What if I can only join online?

The online track is built for you. Same curriculum, same Sage Saturdays (virtual), same cohort community. The difference is you won't be in the room in Chino on Tuesday nights — but you'll still walk the six months alongside everyone else.

Is this a course or a cohort?

A cohort. Cohorts are people, not modules. You don't binge it. You walk it. Six months of weekly rhythm with the same small group, the same guide, and the same shared language.

How do payments work?

In-person: $1,000 first installment, then $250/month for Months 2–5 ($2,000 total). Online: $500 first installment, then $250/month for Months 2–3 ($1,000 total). Payment plans available — ask when the next cohort opens.

What does AWAKENING apply to?

The promo code AWAKENING takes $500 off the in-person deposit, or $250 off the online deposit, when the next cohort opens. It applies to the first installment, not the monthly payments.

The current cohort is in session. What happens if I join the waitlist?

You'll be the first to know when the next cohort opens — likely shortly after Sept. 3 when Cohort 1 finishes. Waitlist members get earlier notice, the AWAKENING code, and a 1-on-1 call with Mike before commitment if you'd like one.

I can't wait that long. Is there anything sooner?

Yes. The live conversation is the lighter relational entry point. And if you need something more personal, you can talk with Mike 1-on-1 — a private formation path, no cohort schedule required.

The turn becomes
a rhythm here.

Sixteen leaders. Six months. One room learning to lead from sonship, rest, and wholeness. The current cohort is full; the next one opens after Sept. 3.
